Over the past day or two I've played a couple of test games using Neil Thomas' SIP Horse & Musket rules. I really like the easy to play approach of these rules but like 99.9% of all gamers I couldn't help but tweak!
So having experimented a little during these games I've added a bit.......taken a bit away,... changed the oil filter.....put it back again ... you probably know what I mean............ 'Tinkering' as my Mum calls it.
Anyway, I've just started to put my own tweaked version up here on the blog for others to try (should they want to of course!) and they can be found by clicking the appropriate tab at the top of the page.
It will probably take me a day or two to get the rules up in full so be sure to keep dropping by and checking out the progress.
If you're a 're-creator' of Napoleonic warfare do yourself a favour and don't bother looking. If however you prefer simple, fun, but thought provoking games that can be played to completion in a couple of hours or three then give them a try!
Cheers all.

Steve, we are definitely towards the former end of the spectrum, but it's great to have a range of rules to choose from for various tastes and needs, so all power to you!
